How You Can Support

We depend on the generosity of companies and individuals within the UK Furnishing Industry to raise the necessary funds to enable it to provide financial assistance to people who have worked in the industry and who are struggling to make ends meet.

Companies

Make your company a Star Supporters Scheme and the Cushion Club.

We also offers a full calendar of fundraising events around the country. You can support us via our popular seasonal Christmas Card Scheme.

If you have storage space you can also turn your company and employees' trash into cash with proceeds coming to FIT. We have three recycling schemes:

We welcome the opportunity to provide our publicity materials for you to display at events. The materials include copies of our annual newsletter Furnishing Life, and our Together leaflet which describes FIT's work and suggests ways people can get involved in supporting us.

You may also like to publicise our fundraising events. Application forms for the FIT Sailing Challenge, FIT Big Shots Clay Pigeon Shoot, and FIT National Golf Championships are also downloadable from this site.

Posters advertising our Respite Breaks and Financial Assistance can also be downloaded and are designed to be put up in the workplace where employees can see them. See Help from FIT We also have the 'challenge' poster that lists our fundraising events and tells people who are coping with financial hardship or a crisis how to contact us. Corporate Supporter of the Year

Every year the Board nominates a company which has made an outstanding contribution to FIT's work in the previous twelve months FIT Corporate Supporter of the Year. Perhaps this is the year your company will win!


Individuals

You could persuade your company to support us through one of the ways outlined above or you can do so on your own.
