We provide grants for desperately needed one-off items and weekly grants for individuals, couples and their families suffering ongoing hardship.

Shootin - Big Shots 25 teams, comprising a mix of experts and novices took part in Big Shots at Holland & Holland grounds on June 10. “It was fantastic to see such a good level of support and we were thrilled with the final result - the day raised £24,000."
Fishin' - Great weather and a best-ever turnout ensured the Trust’s annual Fishing Day raised nearly £3,000. "It was our most successful event yet,” said Andy Corbett of Prima Foam who organised the match, at Meadowlands Fisheries on June 12. “The event, now in its sixth year, saw a record amount raised and was an all-round terrific day.”
Golfin' - Enter a team in the FIT 70th National Golf Championship at the De Vere Belfry PGA Course on Thursday 16 September 2010, a singles Stableford full handicap competition open to girls and guys. The golfing package for the day includes Dinner and Trophy Presentation; a practice round and bucket of balls; tea, coffee, bacon rolls. Individuals, pairs and teams of four welcome. Climbin' FIRA is sponsoring a team from the furniture industry in its quest to raise £5000 for the Furnishing Industry Trust (FIT). Andy Corbett, business manager of Prima Foam, has organised a team to undertake the Three Peaks Challenge, taking place on 12 September.The team comprises Charlie Kerrigan from FIT, Chris Robson from Multiyork, Shaun Rumball and Andy Corbett from Prima Foam. Together they will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in the space of 24 hours to raise money for the charity.
Sailin- In November, President of FIT, Tony Attard will Sail the Atlantic in aid of the charity. He is now hard at work learning the ropes for this ambitious sailing challenge. Celebrate Tony's special Atlantic voyage with a donation. "Every gift, small, or large, helps to get me to my target of £10,000".
